Sustainable Agriculture
November 1, 2021

Global warming due to increased greenhouse gas emissions, extreme weather conditions, shifting weather patterns, an upsurge in the number of natural disasters, and rising sea levels pose an imminent threat to our sustainable survival as a species. The impacts of climate change are global in scope and unparalleled in scale. Wildfires, storms and droughts continue to wreak havoc while glaciers melt at unprecedented rates

KDA aims to collaborate with nations to return to multilateralism to overcome environmental challenges to reconstruct an efficient and effective method to conserve ecologies and biodiversity ecosystems at a global level through sustainable agricultural practices as specified in the Ved-Āgamas.

Vedic literature is rich in hymns that worship nature in all its manifestations. Sustainable Agriculture was the lifestyle of the Vedic Civilisation. Sustainable food donation initiatives distributing freshly grown vegetables and fruits through adopting Ved-Āgamic agriculture initiatives like – high-density farming, vertical gardening, organic farming to produce an efficient yield in a smaller footprint, in all de facto spiritual embassies, departments and agencies of KAILASA. From the earliest days of the Hindu civilization, reverence for the environment has been an integral part of Hinduism.

KDA has incorporated the Sustainable Agriculture method for the enhancement of environmental quality and the resource base on which agriculture depends. Which in return provides for necessities of food and fiber; which is economically viable; and further enhances the quality of life for farmers and society as a whole.
